ASB Awards
The American Society of Biomechanics recognizes excellence in biomechanics research annually with a variety of awards. Some of them (Borelli, Hay, Young Scientist) honor an individual for their contributions to the field of biomechanics, while others (Journal of Biomechanics, Clinical Biomechanics, President’s) honor the quality of a given research project, as presented in abstract form at our Annual Meeting. The individual awards are selected from among nominations that are received by the ASB Past-President. The others are selected based upon abstract quality, culled from among all abstracts that are submitted and qualify for a given award. More details regarding the selection process may be accessed by clicking here.
